徐 军，南京信息工程大学二级教授，现任南京信息工程大学未来技术学院副院长，智能医学图像计算江苏高校重点实验室主任等。2007年于浙江大学控制科学与工程系获博士学位，先后在美国Rutgers大学、 凯斯西储大学生物医学工程系任博士后研究员和访问教授。兼任江苏省人工智能学会医学图像分析专委会副主任委员；中华医学会数字病理与人工智能委员会委员；第四届医学图像计算青年研讨会轮值主席等。主要研究成果发表在Nature Communications, Radiology, IEEE Trans. on Medical Imaging, Medical Image Analysis, The Lancet Digital Health, The Journal of Clinical Investigation等期刊。在“人工智能与图像处理”，“核医学与医学成像”和"临床医学“领域入选斯坦福大学全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单。先后主持国家自然科学基金重大疾病专项项目、联合重点项目、面上项目；科技部重点研发计划重点专项课题，省部级项目多项。参与国家自然科学基金重大研究计划“肿瘤演进与诊疗的分子功能可视化研究”重点项目和重大集成项目多项。主要研究方向是：医学图像计算；计算病理；数字病理；基于影像和常规病理切片定量分析的疾病辅助诊疗和预后。近年来主要致力疾病的1)自动识别与诊断以及亚型的分类，2)基于亚视觉特征的图像表型描述的量化和表征，3)转移风险、恶性程度的预测、预后，期望这些研究成果未来能够辅助医生进一步改善疾病的预防、诊疗和预后，让患者获益。

Jun Xu is the Director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Intelligent Medical Image Computing (IMIC) and the Vice Dean of the School of Future Technology at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. He had been a postdoctoral scientist and visiting professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University and Case Western Reserve University in the United States, respectively. He and his IMIC research group are developing and applying novel quantitative image analysis, natural language processing, signal processing, and machine learning tools for disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis in the context of breast, liver, colorectal, prostate, brain disease, and ophthalmology. His group is also exploring the utility of these methods in studying correlations of disease markers across multiple scales and modalities-- from digital pathology to X-ray, CT, multi-parametric MR images, electronic health records, and biosignals.
